Albert Horton founded the Horton Fruit Company in 1946. Since the day of its birth, The Horton Fruit Company has been family owned and operated. Mr. Horton was a pioneer in the pre-packaging segment of the produce industry in the early 1950’s. His unparalleled experience in growing, packing, shipping, and distributing produce throughout the US set the standards for the company’s current operations.
